About the Global Learning Collaborative
Founded in 2016 through a grant by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Institute for Reproductive Health at Georgetown University and FHI 360 convened the Learning Collaborative to Advance Normative Change in three focused Learning Communities (Theory, Measurement, and Scale-Up).
As of 2024, the Global Learning Collaborative is convened by the Center on Gender Equity and Health at the University of California San Diego. Support is provided by an anonymous donor, USAID through the (completed) Passages Project and Agency for All Project, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

We envision a world where partnerships, knowledge-sharing, and thought leadership converge to ensure sustained equity, social justice, and health for all people.

Our mission is to strengthen research and practice on social norms, gender, and agency by building a network of practitioners, researchers, evaluators, and advocates who share knowledge, generate evidence, and develop resources to support social and behavior change programming.
