The West Africa Social Norms and Agency Learning Collaborative is a regional entity split into two distinct yet intertwined branches–the Anglophone West Africa Social Norms and Agency Learning Collaborative (AWA) and the Francophone Social Norms and Agency Learning Collaborative (CAPANS). These two arms work together to promote cross-sharing and knowledge between the Francophone and Anglophone countries in West and Central Africa, but also provide specific and tailored programming to each of their unique memberships.
Members can elect to join both or either of the two branches, but will be invited to collective West Africa activities.
