How social norms contribute to physical violence among ever-partnered women in Uganda.

On June 2024, EALC members presented at the Ethiopian Health Education and Promotion Professionals Association (EHEPA) monthly seminar. They shared evidence of how social norms contribute to physical violence among ever-partnered women. They explained that norms organise physical violence as a domestic and private matter, as a constituent part of women's lives, and define appropriate boundaries within which male partners perpetrate violence.
